Default dizzy help

if i have a 96 hatch with obd2 wiring and have a d16z6 head wat kind of dizzy do i use?

You'll need one for the D16Z6/D15Z1/JDM D15B VTEC. No other one will bolt up with all 3 holes. If you still have the stock '96 distributor, you could swap the internals into the Z6/Z1 distributor, so the wiring would be correct. Otherwise you'll have to either hardwire one of the connectors to match, or buy/make a jumper harness. You can check out the wiring differences in the picture linked in my signature.

or just dremel out the top slot alil bigger from a y8 dizzy from a 96-98. it will plug rite in and you will just have one bolt at the top that will line up and work fine without swapping the internals. ive been running mine this way for almost 2 yrs and no leaks.

How is your timing though, is it right on?

i got my ignition timing set rite. like i said i had to ream the slot out alil bit to get it to fit. pretty much sets in the center just like they do stock.i have heard of some people having issues with setting thier timing and only being able to get 12btc with it all the way retarded. wasnt the case for me. id imagine cam timing would have alot to do with it doing that.
