Icon3 Anyone having contact issues with Brad @ RLZ?

I paid him almost a year ago for doing a head for me.
I sent it to him in Spring of '09 and I haven;t been able to contact him since earlier this year.
I got the usual "I'll get it out this week" BS for a while and now nothing. Wont answer phone, no emails nor PMs... and not just on this forum either...
I'm thinking my next step is to press charges to atleast recoop some of my losses... not to mention the time I haven't been able to race this season.

Brad is a victim of his own work. Sometime he takes on more than he can, and you have to wait a little longer than promised.
GL on your build.

A year to get a head worked on though? Most people once you sent it in is 1-2 Weeks. But a Year!?

OP, you got to do what you got to do to recoop your loses. Wish you the best of luck.

Imo, he is one of the best at what he does but this just adds to the numerous threads of "RLZ has had my cylinder head for 1 year now, what gives?" threads. Sucks. Good thing I live close and would drive to shop and stay all day until I got my problem resolved. So you called the shop and no answer at all? I know a local forum Howard is a member of, and post there a lot more than here if that helps? I doubt either get on HT much anymore because of its problems/dramatic people. Carolinahondas.com is the forum.

He's probably backed up, but the work is well worth the wait man.. he'll get back with you, just keep at it.

There's no excuse for terrible customer service and waiting a year is definitely not worth the wait for headwork

Wow I'm so lucky I decided to go with CC. My race date is in 1 month and last week I was talking with Brad through email. He said that he would be able to get my head out in time(within 2 weeks for the CNC port package for around $2200).

Right now my head is at CC so hopefully I get it back in time. I would be so fuc**ng pissed if I didn't get my head from Brad if I were to send it to him. Yea sometimes the wait will be worth it, but like me when you're on a tight schedule and they tell you 2 weeks, well it better be 2 weeks turnaround!

If you call RLZs number it keeps ringing and their voicemail is full.
Brad told me the head has been done since October.
I agree that he's got some of the best stuff out there but I kind of wish I had gone with CC or hell, even EnDyn, lol.

Brad is a one man show when it comes to headwork, shipping, and customer service/contact. he has expressed to me several times how he wishes he could hire someone simply for responding to emails, phone calls and customer contact. his email and phone get filled everyday while he works 18hr days often. you gotta think its simply impossible for one person to handle all of this efficiently by themself and keep everyone happy.

Patriot, i will contact Brad for you today

Hey thanks man. I need to clarify a little.
I'm not REALLY upset with him. I understand where he's coming from.
I'm more frustrated that I couldn't get a hold of him to hound him for my head, lol.

BTW, what's your next event, NAH2B? I haven't seen the new car but Nate was telling me all about it when he was doing the pics for ya.

Actually, I'd do it if the price was right, lol.
But it seems things have been rectified. I already got a tracking number.
Again, I want to say I'm not trying to bash on him or the company, I'm glad that someone was able to get in touch with him for me. That's all I wanted. Thanks again.
