Default 98 motor in a 96

i had a friend offer me a 98 accord motor for free and i was wondering if any of the 98 motors would match up to the transmission of my f22b1 i'm not sure of the exact motor i just know its not the 3.0

Yes the F23A* engine will bolt up to the F22B1 transmission.

so any of the f23 motors will bolt up cause theres like 3 different f23s motors

Yes, any F to F will fit. F and H series are all interchange-able no matter what you hear. Good Luck!

Yes

Actually IIRC there are 4 versions of the F23. When I typed F23A*. I sometimes use * as a placeholder for multiple numbers. The asterisks in this case represents all available version numbers included in the F23A series, 1-4-5 & 7.
