hi guys
im trying to help a friend to solve a problam he has with a obd2a to obd1 conv harness.

i cut the old 3 wire iacv connector and soldered a 2 wire iacv connector to the yel/blk blk/blu wires and ignored the orange wire like i allways do.



the idle is going up and down. what could be the problam?

only 2 things come to mind.

-You soldered the wrong wires together ( criss crossed them )
and

-Was the IACV unit working prior ? maybe the unit it self is not working.

i tryed to switch back the wires and it still didnt work,

and yes, the iacv was operating on a runing car,
