I am getting an awesome deal from my friend for a 1000 double din. Gettin it for 200+my helmet. Wondering how Iwouk go about installing this into my car? The current radio I have installed is right above the cup holder.

So jus wondering from the people who have one how they did it.

I searched for audio console and most threads that come up are for eg. I have yet to see anyone with a 96-98 double din. Just lookin for some guidance before I buy it and can't use it. Will the eg audio console fit in my car?

 

The reason why is 96-98 doesnt have a spot for a double din.
One look at the dash would tell you that.
Its a lot of work but a 99-00 climate control converson would give you the space for a double din without any custom work.
