Incorrect. Judging by the single port, this is definitely a pre-1997 master cylinder. If it is a 1" it must have come off something with ABS, possibly a 96 spec ITR if it's JDM. However, I would guess it's off a DA with ABS.

The later DC master cylinders and resovoirs were dual port: The RS (no ABS) had 15/16" MC and the rest (with ABS) had 1" MC, all of which were dual.

I have not looked in a few yrs when I replace mine, but I thought that the older, '94 type had the slanted back, at hookup to the booster, and newer were straight across, and the reservoir rectangular. A few vendors have made 1" MC for 94-96 tegs that fit the booster. I was able to physically look at them in various autoparts stores.

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Round reservoir (1) older and (25) newer. Then abs or not.

ok, i found this on-line place that has the layout i need listed as 1996 integra w/o abs. they only have re-man units. im trying to get new from honda. http://www.autopart.com/brakeMasCyl/...URAINTEGRA.htm

if you look at the diagram on the acura site, the single port master doesn't have the lines in the locations i need. http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

the DA master looks pretty close, but is 15/16ths. not 1". at least the non-abs one is

My "standard" was 15/16 and I got one at NAPA that was 1" for my '95. I could have gotten either size, after market, thru a few vendors, but not a 1" Honda one for my year.

I have a '95 with ABS and my take offs are different. My front outlet is on the driver side and rear on the passenger side of the MC. Looks like an RS, or nonABS MC. I found pictures here

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/mm...der~parts.html

The last one on page one is the RS, nonABS one. I think that is what you are looking for. Once you determine that, then you can look at various brands, some aftermarkets are now 1" for the same booster mount. At least I could find either 15/16" or 1" in various non-Honda brands for the ABS MC.
Hope this helps.

My NAPA is 1" for ABS and I think that it is Beck Arnley. I found several, but it did not specify 1". Beck and Arnley is not reman, and I think 1", but you will have to confirm. 2 years ago, I could not get a 1" OEM Honda part with the diagnal mount, just the '98+.

That looks like a DA master

Also if you want to change em go with a 15/16th 90 Civic Sedan 1.6 model, The smaller 1.5 models have 13/16th and CRX si's have 7/8th
Judging by your pictures you don't want to bend lines or anything, 15/16th 90 Civic will work fine for you. Fastbrake sells em or you can go to Autozone and buy a reman 15/16 for $60.00.

When you start going to 1 inch masters you need to re flare the 10mm fitting to a 12mm. Depending on your brake setup 1 inch may be too much too.

I know for EF stuff, the EX master or one of the older prelude masters (both 15/16ths) are the way to go. this is on an EG.

It could be a DA one. the DA non abs is the same master as the DC RS.

i was pretty sure this one was 1" which is why i'm having a hard time figuring out what its from.

The NAPA aftermarket 1" for my 95 did not require more flare and is made as a replacement. Unfortunately I could not find an RS, nonABS, 1". There are several brands and there may still be a 1", I just did not find it for the RS.

both the fittings are 10mm, but are they both the same core size ?

90-93 GS 4 doors (or any ABS 90-93) are 1 inch, both fitting requires a 10mm key, but one fitting has a bigger core (its hole is bigger). They fit the 290V booster fine.

Ex master is a go with the stock booster and its 15/16ths.
I have the dc booster so the mounting offset is the opposite. Also, the da abs one is 1".
