Default D15B2/D16Z6 mini-me timing and head stud Q's

Yes, another thread about mini-me. I can't find what I am looking for through search.

D15B2 block mated with D16Z6 head.

1. head studs - I would like to use head studs for this, but am unsure what to order. Anyone know what works?

2. Mechanical timing - Y8 cam gear or Adjustable cam gear. I have seen threads say you need one and some say you don't. With the B2 block and Z6 head and cam, can you just run the stock Z6 cam gear without issues?

Thanks for any help.

1. Anyone may correct me if I'm wrong but I believe for the Z6 head you are supposed to use any 88-95 SOHC D-series head studs (I think it's only when you use the Y8 head that you have to do a mix n match set).

2. I've heard that about using the Y8 cam gear as well but I'd suggest using an adjustable cam gear if your funds allow you to.
