Default offset question

Hi i am looking to get 16x8 wheels for my em2 and i need to know which offset will work best without much rub issues... If you have em on your whip don't be shy to post links of pics and/or specs suspension modifications etc...

Cheers
Phil

On rolled fenders, +38 is about all you're going to fit without running an overly-stretched tire, extreme camber, and wheel poke.

It would depend on how safe you want your car to be. I'm not the one to ask, when it comes to stretching, because I go the opposite route.

well on a 8" wheel you can only stretch so much i guess... But safety is always a must... i seen a 10 wide wheel on here i believe Leon was the owner of the beast...

16x8+30 fits perfect on our cars, but you will need to roll the fenders, and if you don't have a stiff suspension setup it will rub a lot. I had my friends Gabsports 16x8+20 in the front and +30 in the rear for a month, with 205/50/16 tire. It wasn't bad, rubbed a little though.

But I'll stick with my 16x8+38 front and 16x7+32 rear for now. Much less of a headache than trying to fit lower offset wheels with proper tires. I'm not a fan of stretched tires either. I am actually using 225/50/16 on my front wheels.. for now.
