abs light on; module burping & whistling
ok, guys,
did the search thing, but if i can give 2 cents feedback here, your stickies do not contain, (shud do as ABS are PIA on these cars) and admin should split this section up into 90-7 cars and 98-02 cars, as the 98-02 cars are completely redesigned and carry over no common parts; its make s this section overly huge with posts, and hence me having to post now!
Now i ve go that off my chest, does anyone have pics on where to find the thingy i bung the paper clip in to diagnose?? I m not a mechanic, I m a technie, so i ll need pics and step by step instructions, i do not see in stickies, i suggest your admin address. If you can adopt similar methodology as nico forum, then it would make it much easier for newbies such as I
Also the abs modulator makes wining noise, i think its normal (????) but it does run for like 15 seconds, sometimes even whilst i m driving, brakes are hard n good, no leaks at the actuator.
Did brake test in wet, front lock, but can;t tell if its one or both,
Thanks in advance,
Rob

To start, the motors F22 and F23 are relatively similar, and much closer than the newer K series, which is what the 03+ Accords have. The only exception is the ITR guys who think their car is super duper awesome and separate from the basic Integra section.
The chassis may be different but they still are very similar and a lot of parts cross over between the two.
As to your ABS, the following is for Preludes but the codes still hold true. You should be able to find the SCS connector in similar location near glovebox and jump it the same.
But for someone to complain about model specific forums and not include their OWN car make/model/trim is a little funny, wouldn't you agree? Post up your vehicles information for other assistance.

Thank you very much for response, I will certainly take a look this weekend before posting back with results -
I thought i had posted following in my profile...
About rabs
Biography
1995 accord EX 211K miles
Location
Fl
Interests
cars, computers
Occupation
IT
thats what came up when i clicked on my profile, can everyone see that or is it a facebook type setting i am missing?
Additionally i do not agree, I have 2001 accord v6; its completely different, I still think 9-97 cars should be listed separately from 98-02, for instance I can;t remove ABS sensors from my 01 and test on my 95 can I??
thanks once again for your help,

thanks once again for your help,

with a C series engine, quite the oddball. It's too small of a market (98-02) to justify a new section. There is however v6(REMOVE THIS)performance.net (take out that section, the forum edits it) that's dedicated to them, if you ever have questions specific to them they are probably a more dedicated source.
I actually thought your issue was with a 98-02 since you start off your post referencing them. Didn't look in your bio however. Most users list it in their thread as your profile requires going through several additional pages to view and most don't have their cars listed.
If you have a 95 you should have almost an identical setup to that Prelude. There should be a small blue connector located directly below/behind the glove box that you can stick a paperclip in. There's also an "$5 ABS fix no lie" thread in the Accord FAQ that may be applicable to you.
