Default Exhaust size B series

1.8 engine around 210WHP and later 100 of shoot nitrous...
Any recommendation on exhaust size ?
is 2.8" to big or maybe 2.4"

straight from headers to muffler 3"...

is middle resonator needed for backpressure, noise reduction....

noise reduction yes but 3" is the way to go.

its funny how a couple years ago you said 3 inch exhaust on an allmotor and and you got flamed and the words "backpressure" always came up...since k series have been running them peoples minds have changed...im also gonna be running a 3 inch thermal on a hc lsvtec build..in the works...bc4 cams..mostly cause i was turbo before and exhaust is still in car..

Actually members like Mar778c showed how 3" on everything from a b16a and up improved power before the K-series taught us anything.

2.5 to 3. or 2.5 mid way back that flares gradually to a 3in pipe.
