ALL JDM ITR are running CTR cams

jdm itr 96-97 are running ctr cams
jdm itr 98-01 are running ctr cams

USDM ITR are running ITR cams

only USDM 00-01 ITR have CTR cams

ok so its the jdm 98 spec and the 00-01 itr usdm

 

every single one of those itr ctr cams is so close it's nearly insane to worry about which you have. there's a 3deg difference at 1mm

they also are the ones still sold new, hmotorsonline has pretty decent deals for a new pair

 

 

well i would be buying the one from hmotors eather the 96 97 or 98 spec i really wanted the one with the ctr cams but the 96 97 is cheaper and he said it was better for daily driving cuz the 98 has the final drive

 

the 98 has better headers too i think too that might b worth it

 

you can get a 98+ header for $300, your 97 manifold will sell for $150, the 98+ is marginally better but it is something like half the weight. if you're buying the whole swap better deals exist than hmotors even though some people are die hard loyal to the guys just because he runs an honest business.

 

96 JDM headers are 4-2-1 cast items and provide peak torque at 7000rpm.

98+ JDM headers are 4-1 SS. will also give you peak torque at 6200rpm.
