i need help on my del sol turbo i have a b18a1 with a gsr head and a t70 turbo kit.. the problem i have is the my car turns off and i recently change the headgasket. when the car turn off it sounds like it chokes on the gas... also turn off when i step to the gas pedal... i check the fuel pump and is working fine...if anybody have any idea why this is happening please answer thanks

well the guy who trade me this car said that was street tune so i dont know

 

i also check the code with check engine light and came out to be code 15 which i think it has something to do with the distrubutor but i still dont know

 

So, you bought a car that was already turboed and now you're having issues...not surprising if you aren't sure what you're getting into. A little more info on the setup would be nice. Judging by the "T70" remark, it sounds like you have an Ebay kit, or at least Ebay turbo, which makes me wonder what else was half-assed on this setup...

 

Your best option will probably be to find a good tuner in your area and take it to them to look at it. Unless you can describe things in more detail (about the setup and what has been checked) I don't think we are going to be able to do more than guess.

Indeed... buying other people's projects is always "fun"... definitely a good way to waste a lot of time if you don't bother to check out the work that was done before the sale/trade.

 

street tuned sometimes means "no" it was tuned poorly by my friend with a laptop

without more details though , best we can do is suggest to take it to a tuner and get it worked out

 

this happened to my hatch last week, all it needed was cap/rotor, plug wires.
