Im looking for an exhaust system for my Em1 and i cant decide between The Skunk2 Megapower RR or the Apexi WS2???

 

i love my hks hi power exhaust

 

I don't understand... they're two completely different exhausts, sound wise. You either want quiet and stealthy (WS2) or loud and obnoxious, especially if you're running an aftermarket header or you're catless (Skunk2).

i would go with Apexi WS2 its quite.

that one is really nice but does it stick out somewhat too far???? you got any pictures farther away or a side shot?

looks and sounds great

 

It just looks that way because it's on an EG coupe. It looks more flush on an EM1/EK (because the bumpers are different), but it definitely doesn't stick out far. Everyone makes their exhausts fit for EG/EK, so you they compromise fitment on both.

 

im looking for performance wise but i do like the way that the world sport 2 looks

 

Performance wise, any chambered muffler will not perform as well as straight through. Of course you will sacrifice noise for power.

 

I would imagine that the Skunk 2 is going to be loud, but at the same time make more power.

I just installed an apexi ws2 on my integra and it is extremely quite.. almost stock sounding, but screams on WOT. Honestly I might of lost 2-3whp.. No dyno proof.. Just the butt dyno, but to me it was worth it. Also not to mention I love the way the ws2 looks.

 

had the skunk 2 and its not all that great sounds kinda ricey.

 

skunk2 sounds very ricey, i have the WS2 and I can't wait to hear it. I ran a cheap megan exhuast back when i was 16, wasn't the worst sounding exhaust in the world. Wouldn't ever recommend it or buy another one again though.

Not sure if the name but rs-r makes one that looks like the ws2 and made good quiet power on my buddys turbo z6. Great sound!
