Did Spoon mess up on packaging?

I think that grey/silver one is for the AP1. Maybe a comparison of the colors?

Hrmm..maybe I guess the monoblock wouldn't have that metal line connecting 2 seperate blocks then. Wonder where to get those silver ones then.. hrm...?

 

Both are EK/DC Twin Block Calipers
Looks like either (A) Photochop or (B) Someone had them sandblasted and only anodized 1 of them I'm leaning towards (A) because why in the world would someone disassemble a caliper, sand blast them both, only anodize 1 and then rebuild them? So its Most likely a photochop

And No the Spoon Calipers NEVER came in any other color than Spoon Blue. Those Silver AP1 ones you might have seen in pics were a demo test unit which they hadn't anodized.

 

Question:

Can I put Spoon Calipers made for AP1 and put it on my DC2 Type R?
Would it fit? It LOOKS it should fit...

 

Possibly But it wouldn't be a "Bolt On" Ordeal, you would have to do some modifying to the brackets, you'd need S2000 size rotors, you'd need 16" or larger rims etc.

 

I'm guessing those are Craig's calipers.

He removed the smurf paint and painted them black.
