I have searched the forum and have come to find that the majority of companies that made roof caps for the CRX no longer exist. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that still makes these carbon fiber roof caps. I would great appreciate it if someone could stir me in the right direction. I need one for a non-sunroof crx.

Thats not a roof cap...its a plug.

 

Unfortunately mojun and the previous companies went belly up and no longer exist there was a problem with them receiving money and not shipping things out. OP maybe you can get one custom made by someone who knows how to work with carbon fiber. another thing you could do is try to call vis or similar company and talk to them about making a limited amount as a group buy, possibilities are endless.

 

i know the following link doesn't have anything for a crx but it might be worth a shot to contact them and see if they could make one.
as they make a carbon and carbon kevlar cap for the ef civic, hatch only though.

what's the purpose of this? I'm guessing aesthetics? I don't see too many people wanting to reskin their roof just to save a couple of pounds. I could be wrong though.

 

i don't think anyone out there makes a carbon fiber replacement roof for a non convertible, they are "caps" that sit on the roof for aesthetic purposes only

 

i used to work for a composites engineering firm, and noticed that alot of people just like to wrap things in CF instead of REPLACE things with CF. solely cosmetic. kinda defeats the purpose, cuz if you just put a cap on it, you are just adding more weight.

 

i wouldnt call it completely cosmetic. this would allow you to remove the sunroof without an ugly "plug"

race - full replacement roof, meaning cut out yours and rivet this in
street - just covers your existing roof, thus a cap and you epoxy it on.
