I have a 2000 Prelude that I might be looking to sell. I want to see what people think it might be worth, and what's fair. The book value is about $7k in perfect condition; if mine's not in perfect condition, it's very close. It has 125,000 miles, but the motor was rebuilt by King Motorsports at 105,000, so the motor itself has about 20,000 miles on it. Here is a quick list of what was done to it, as well as a few other details:
In addition to the things below there were a lot of stock parts replaced or rebuilt so that the motor was essentially brand new. If I find anyone that's interested I would provide the paperwork on everything
Fully balanced and blueprinted motor
Hondata ECU
JDM Type S Intake with K&N Filter
64 MM Bored TB
Ported & Polished Intake Manifold
Crower Cams
AEM Cam Gears
JDM Type S Pistons
JDM Type S Red Valve Cover w/ Mugen Oil Cap
Exedy Clutch
JDM Power-Folding Mirrors
JDM Guage Cluster Bezel
JDM Center Console
JDM Rear Ash Tray
This car is very clean, very reliable, and a lot of fun to drive. It has been dyno-tuned twice and put down about 200 at the wheels. It obviously isn't a 12 second car but it makes a very good daily driver. I bought it in 2005 and since then the oil has been changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic or Royal Purple; also, it has had nothing but Shell Premium gas the whole time. The car has an all black interior and exterior, including stock wheels that were painted black (professionally). It also has Pirelli P Zero-Nero tires that probably have 80% tread or more. The car has never been smoked in, and of course, is a manual. I have all paperwork from King as well.
Thanks for your input in advance, if you have questions let me know.

1. You ain't selling it in Cincinnati. Unless you want to trade for a DA or Cavalier.
2. The last 4 items don't add value to the average buyer, and even I wouldn't be too pressed.
3. Nobody cares about stock painted wheels.
You need to get some Prelude forums and try to sell it it there, and due to economy you are probably not getting book for it, and you should also know that when you're straight out selling a car none of those mods matter.

Yes, this is a Honda forum.
You don't see anyone outside of the Prelude section give a damn about a Prelude. You can't compare the enthusiam of Preludes at preludep0wer or prelude0nline. Prelude aren't loved because at h-t since they are 3000lbs, comfortable and run 15's with an H22. Civic are lighter, rattletraps, and (most important to h-t) runs 13's with an H22.
I'm just saying be prepared. I sure as hell ain't gonna sell mine outright, because I ain't giving it away.
