Is my TPS bad?
Car: 96 Hatch, stock under the hood
ECU: No CEL's and took it to autozone to scan and no codes show up. I reset ecu as well.
The problem:
Car runs normal but the minute you approach a red light it idles down to 100-200 and eventually dies.
What I already did:
Took out the IACV cleaned it (but it was pretty much clean) removed any air from the cooling system. Tightened the throttle cable.
Tested the voltage on the TPS and got .45 average and a steady climb as throttle is applied.
So after doing all that the car was running descent (the idle was a little high but it wouldn't drop) Today I got in my car to come to work and it wants to die again.
Please help.

I'll try disconnecting the IACV when I get home. And currently the throttle cable is tight since that raised the RPM's a bit ...It was my backyard solution as I need to get to work and back. But obviously the car is compensating for the higher throttle and still dropping the idle.
I"ll give that a go, what does "112-turn" mean is that like 1/4 turn ?
And big thanks for taking the time to help, I'm so tempted to put this engine in the bottom of the ocean some were and get a B-series
