well my question a long while ago i got a ls swap from a friend he did the swap and while in his car their was no tranny grind but in min it did 2 and third not bad but it still grinded sometimes now i have a gsr and have the same problem it just dawned on me that i never changed shift linkages would using D series shift linkage and D series shifter cause this problem i dont know for a fact if i have D shift linkage but im assuming so and i saw that ingetra fifters are diff from D series one ex: were they bolt to the shift linkage is wider in a integra.

 

they are slightly different. i had that problem with my b swap into my eg so i changed the shifter its easier to get it into gear but the only thing is 3rd gear sits a little more to the left side as to the NORMAL MIDDLE gear into like most other cars. when you buy a b series linkage make sure its not a cut and welded one. i have a avid linkage cost me about 135

dont bump take my advice and you wouldnt have the problem anymore. do the expensive job. buy a new rebuilt tranny and youll see how you would still have the problem
