Sway bars??
i'm suprising my best friend...we've been best friends for about 10 years....and i'm 20...so...it's been sometime that we've been chillin...but anyhow...he has a 94 accord lx...i'm going to suprise him with an AEM CAI...but he's engine swapping to an H22A....i heard the intake in transferable....not sure...and the othet part of the suprise is the sway bars....i'm not sure which ones to get him...i'm checkin out Progress or Suspension Tech....does anyone have any experiences with either of the sway bars?? and does anyone know if the CAI is transferable....thanks in advance for the info....this will help a great deal...
your going to need a 3inch CAI one of the prelude gen intakes will fit i forget which oh and for sway bars just geth im the rear supension tech NOT THE Front, front one is hella useless.
that's funny, a friend of mine helped me do hella' work on my car so I ordered him a suspentiontechniques rear anti-sway too!
one of those things that go underrated so people won't do it for themselves...
but that's what friends are for!
it was tight 'cause the ups guy rolled up just as he was helpin' me do the electrical on my folding mirrors
good timeing

I have th suspension techniques on my 93 and I did get the set... They flattened out the car quite a bit. No handling like a sports car but then again at 246K and original suspension components it's not going to. But it did stop the annoying cold weather creek the old original sways were giving me.

Im have the ST rear swaybar. Took me 20 minutes to install.
You dont want a front swaybar because FWD cars have a tendancy to undesteer, which is no fun and will slow you down a track. Getting a stiffer rear bar will make it more bias to oversteer which is a good thing.

i have the s/t rear sway bar and i absolutely love it. my car has no more body roll and turns on a dime, it probably works much better for me b/c i already have neuspeed springs and koni yellow shocks.
thanks for the info... sorry for being stupid but i never understood or learned the difference between understeer and oversteer and the pros and cons of each... i guess i'm an idiot...
so far my 94 accord has tein ha coilovers, cusco strut bar and lower arm bar, and ingalls camber kit... the ride and handling ain't too shabby... i was planning on getting the ST front and rear kit but i would assume that the rear sway bar is sufficient would sorta complete the suspension setup..? then there are the rear upper strut bar, rear lower tie bar, etc etc etc... what to get..??

you need the rear sway bar the rear upper and lower strut tie bars.
to totaly finish it you need a roll cage and Tear HART's crazy assed rear sway from hell. ohh and shocks that support external resivour's
what do you mean by "lower arm bar" ?

hmmm... a lot of REAR stuff... i think (and hope) the front strut bar was worth it... felt some difference... the Cusco lower arm bar is like a rear lower tie bar but for the front... it's blue and looks nice but scrapes if you're dropped to low or encounter sudden ditches & bumpers...
grab a nice fat rear sway bar. and possibly a rear upper bar so you can remove those seat back supports for dampening adjustment ease. skip the rear lower bar.
You got Tein HA's and don't know the difference between understeer and oversteer? You need to learn soon, else the Tein's would be a huge waste.
With what you've got now and the above. You should be able to out handle most any randon ****. But it takes practice and tuning.

The AEM CAI you will want to get him are the 5th Gen Lude AEM CAI. Those are 3" and they fit very well on 5th Gen Accords. I would show you pictures of my friend's, but I honestly don't feel like looking.
