You must sit down, put on some headphones, and dedicate the next 6 minutes and 16 seconds to watching this awesome tribute to a great car. The track sequences are some of the best I've seen (including video from car manufacturers).

Work of art is a bit cliche, but it fits. Awesome video.

 

Thought it was a little cheesy. I was fast forwarding, and even then the track scenes seemed too choppy. Nice video quality though.

And the main motivation is to compete for victory, it’s not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. I race to win as long as I feel it’s possible. Sometimes you get it wrong? Sure, it’s impossible to get it right all the time. But I race designed to win, as long as I feel I’m doing it right.

Check the other vids of the same guy on Vimeo and Youtube. Top notch edition. I like because his vids are not your typical car video, it has that "artistic" feel to them.

This is more of a tribute for the late great Ayrton Senna....That's him speaking with the accent.

He drove for Honda F1 and was involved with testing of the NSX.

It went Michael Bay at some points. Typical 4-second shots with some use of the "everything looks better in slow motion" method. I like the music and Senna's voiceover. Not sure what the message is with "7 different lifes". He'd be a good music video director.

With that said, I liked it.

Omg I watched this video the other night and I was purely amazed! Awesome mix of classical music and a beautiful machine!!!

 

Regardless of the style the video reminds people of, its VERY well done. Has almost a Top Gear feel to it with the quality of video and the cinematic look. The guy has talent needless to say. Saw this video on prime.

 

Have you guys seen his (Daniel michaelis) other videos? I mean he has done some incredible work....mostly car videos. I'm so impressed because I used to do compositing and understand the difficulty to do what he does.

I didn't get his Mini S video either.

 

It was a real good video. Kinda funky to me, but its all good because the car was amazing.

 

This vid has accomplised making a fast car just look outright slow, the video and everything is great but it kinda made me almost want to fall asleep at the same time.

 

I enjoyed most aspects of the video, but the extremely rapid transitions were unnecessary. His work is good, and really doesn't need quite so many special effects.
