i made a mess of my b16
i knew i shouldnt of trouched it, but its too late now.
first of all, i replaced my head gasket, put it all back together with all the head bolts and everything in their original places and according to torque spec and sequence. started it up, drove it about 2 blocks and it had no power so i shut it off and had my friend come set the timing. he got the timing dead on and then it wouldnt start at all. then did a compression test and cylinders 1 and 4 were very very low.
so i tore it all back down, some valves were bent so i replaced the valves, but im afraid my motor was 180 degrees off tdc when i took it apart. i cant afford to mess a bunch of stuff up again so how do i fix this?

^Ehm yeah, I was about to say the same thing. Set everything back to TDC. Make sure cam sprockets are up, arrows facing each other. Put it back together and you shouldn't have a problem starting it if you replaced the bent valves. I don't see anything else that would cause it to not turn over.
