A/C clutch will not engage on 2002 honda crv
I have changed out the a/c compressor on my 2002 honda crv, but the clutch will not engage. The fan comes on as soon as i cut the a/c on. I had to jump the wiring to charge the freon. What could be the problem?
Pressure switch, clutch relay, evap thermostat, compressor wiring should be good since you were able to jump the compressor. TPS, ECM, maybe this car is wired through the TCM too?? Do not run too long while jumpering, can you tell us the LO and HI pressure readings and what exactly did you jump to force it to work. Blown fuse, broken wire, poor ground to a controlling circuit. Many items can keep this thing from working including the main control head. Does the blower motor work inside also, it also must work.
