Default questions on turbo build on d16y8

good pistons? im looking for ones that put out good compression w/ turbo.. what proven to work best? whats cheapest/best ya know=p?

im already getting some supertech springs and retainers changing out those and my pistons and cam before i put turbo kit on. dont wanna use stock 200k pistons with it rofl

9:1 compression or lower is nice for turbo set ups. You can get a good vitara set up for the d16 for a very good price. You are going to need the block to be honed especially with that many miles. zex makes a nice turbo cam.

bisimoto makes a really good cam for a turbo set up not sure how well it will work for a N/a set up

Vitara pistons with Eagle rods are a common setup that a lot of single slam owners go with when boosting their motor. I'd fully recommend it
