Hello, So This is not really about vinyl wrapping REALLY, but I was planning to put Vinyl over the top portion of my rear window because I have a accord coupe and I recently got tints and the tints don't stick to the dot matrix well at all. I have been thinking of what to do with it and the only thing I can think of that would not cost me a fortune would be to cover the outside of that portion with vinyl.

I just want you guy's opinion on this.

I would also like to know how well vinyl would stick to the glass because I don't want to be replacing it every year or something. I would be okay with replacing it every like, five years if possible. And also, having vinyl on the exterior.. how am I going to clean the window? should I have to avoid the strip of vinyl?

And also, is the vinyl going to peel off on it's on eventually or is it going to be stuck on firmly? Like on the edges or corners?

Oh, and also, Where would I be able to get some good quality vinyl wraps? or are they all the same..?

they didnt sand the dot matrix down first before applying the tint?

 

nope.. which sucks ***** cause I wasn't informed of this at all before the tinting went on or i might have even have said to leave the matrix out and paint it or sometihng. but now it just looks terrible which is why i came up with vinyl it outside. that seems to be the only cheapest option i have.. =(

but i was looking at it and it seems to be pretty difficult to sand it down anyway because there are defroster lines in the way also.
