I just got my TL.
i want to get it tinted.
if i get a tint, will my windows scratch the tint when i roll down?
OR i need to get something to protect the window

go the the acurazine website and into the TL section and they sell a kit that will resolve the scratching issue. I know if affects the 04+ cars but not sure what years. 03 and earlier cars do not have this problem since they already have felt wipers on the window

Mine had tint when I bought it, no scratches or issues. It's 3M tint btw. However they didn't fully cover the small quarter glass on the rear doors, which is somewhat common. So I do have the typical 3G TL rear door qtr outline, it's really not even noticeable. I would just make sure beforehand that they will cover it completely when you inquire about the tint job. Check out AZ, they point it out.

i know that once you get it tinted you cant roll down your window for a certain duration i think a week or two not sure. and get moleskin or whatever it was called so that it wont scratch the tint when you roll it down. if you ask a tint shop they should be able to answer those questions though

I had tints for about a year without moleskin and nothing scrathed. The moleskin is so inexpensive that I bought it and put it on. No problem since the installation either.
