h22a timming issue
well long story short a piece of rubber jumped into the timing belt and the timming was jumped by a few teeth...so far no damage but lost of power of course...the question i have is since the timing balancer belt drive pully and the front/rear timing balancer belt driven pully are ran on another belt, would that have jumped off time as well?
It's hard to know what happened by your description, but I would guess the balance belt is fine. It is probably worth checking. No offence to slowredsol but he is wrong, the balance belt is timed with the rest of the engine.

I'd set it to TDC and check it, the balance shafts do have timing marks on them and if it's off it'll feel like the belt isn't there at all or even cause more vibration.
