i;ve got a 5th gen Prleude, the headlights are starting to get dusty and foggy looking. i've noticed in the past that people have taken part their headlight to make them JDM look. what is the trick to seperating the lense from the housing. that glue is some strong stuff, and i am afraid to pry on it b/c i might break something. help me out

 

In a word, HEAT.

People have used hairdryers, heatguns, even ovens (VERY carefully).

If I were you I would just blowdry it a little on the seams till you can work it open with a flathead or something. And do not spare any expense when resealing it.

 

I used my oven when I took mine apart. Just be careful not to leave them in there for a very long time, and always check on them...

 

at what temp, and for about how long???

 

i used a hair dryer and screw driver for mine. heat small areas at a time while prying at it till u get all the way around. the assembly gets pretty flexible so u can easily pry it apart jus make sure to seal it up when ur done

 

8 minutes, 200 degrees
