obd2a engine harness help, manual or automatic

Was wondering if I would have problems putting a obd2a engine harness from an automatic in a manual car?

no you will just have extra plugs you can just cut off and a extra plug at the ecu u can cut or just tape up. make sure the ecu and harness match. 96-98 civic harnesses and ecus have different pin outs to 99-00
