1999 ex with a big hole in the block
My sister ownes the 1999 civic ex with the sohc vtech. she blew it up and put a hole in the block. I called all over the place to find one. theres lots out there but there not cheep by no means. as she has limited funds, I bought a engine from a warehouse for 600 long block. not bad right? so anyway as I get it home, I unload it next to the one that came out of the car to find theres a small diffrence, theres a extra vacume port standiding straight up right between the two middle injectors right up against the head.
So I call around and every one is telling me the new used engine that I bought is from a 1997 or older and it should have another sensor for the cam. anyone ever heard of this?

Swap the intake manifold from the old motor to the new one. The 99-00 Ex manifolds are slightly different than the 96-98. Use your old engine harness as well. I believe all the sensors are the same. GL.
nope everything is the same just swap the intake manifold and your good. the newer ones had air injection holes in the manifold thats what that nipples for and you dont need it. all the other sensors are plug and play
