we had a double header in nyr this weekend. durring one of his morning runs, one of our DS drivers in a wrx wagon spun right infront of our canopies (it was raining off and on), gets out and proposes to his g/f who was sitting there watching and trying to stay dry. he got down on the knee and broke out the ring and all. she was very exited and said yes( ) and he finished his run. i thought it was pritty creative on his part.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing too?? That must have killed his time for that run too.

 

i don't think he went off. i think he exited and enter'd in the same spot and sisn't miss any gates. was def his slowest time of the day.

i was working that corner, it was awesome! i though he was gonna fight one of us or something, but then i saw him reach in a get a ring box. people who all pissed off, but then realised what was going on. brilliant move, brilliant! now she can;t bitch about going to autocrosses i guess.... bbasso was standing next to me and got it with his digi cam. i was joking around asking what he's gonna do when it come time with the divorce papers, but not too many people laughed...oops. me <-----
