Jdm front foglight wiring question for a 2001
I have a black 2001 itr with Jdm hid front.I'm trying to figure out how to wire up the jdm foglight switch and where to plug it in on the fusebox above the dead pedal.I searched and saw all the other threads, but none of them showed where to put it on the newer model fuse boxes.I wish I could post pics to give a better idea, but I'm on my phone since comcast sucks and is out.any help would be appreciated.and no I'm not just going to give up and put a usdm front back on for all the haters who don't like Jdm fronts.

I dont have the info on all that but I was lucky enough to have a factory fog light wiring kit for under the dash and was just simple plug and play minus swapping switches to dash fog and instead of putting the power signal wire to the light switch I wired it strait to the fuse box. Sorry couldnt be more helpful but im sure someone will post the diagram for it
If you have a multimeter and some free time you can figure it out. You have to look for the connection that has constant 12v and the other that has 12v when the key is turned. I used the diagrams on the internet for reference and a couple of hours of troubleshooting and testing everything up. This was on an old 94 I used to have but will work on all cars.
I used this thread and an OEM USDM fog harness to wire up the JDM fog button.

Ground it to a dash bolt. Use the slot circled in red. OR unless you want to be able to use the fogs when your headlights aren't on, switch it to any of the other slots (just don't drain your battery if you use the B+ slot).
Ok this is frustrating as hell.I'm using this how to https://honda-tech.com/forums/lighting-107/how-jdm-itr-hid-headlight-fog-light-wiring-2195061/ my foglights are wired separately but joined before the hit the relay.I'm so pissed off that this will not work.the previous owner did a terrible job.if anyone is in the Baltimore md va area I will pay them to get them working.I am fed up

ya thats the perfect thread I was thinking about. not 100% what you have going on with it though so..... sorry
I tried just an old switch and I'm getting power and ground.the bulbs don't look blown out but I can't even see the wires for them behind the light since it's a tucked bay.ps never but a car with a wire tuck .this is the biggest pain to find the correct wires
Easiest way to do it go to Autozone by a fuse adapter, wire, a relay, wire loom, switch, and connectors or heat shrink. Wire up the fog lights yourself. You can buy pre-made wiring harness. This is what I have done for my R and a friends. It is easier saves time and you can still make it look clean.
