injector questions
well my question is, i have a set of dsm 450cc blue top injectors. the thing with the injectors is they have been sitting for a few months. how long is too long for injectors to sit before they cant be used, and should i get them cleaned and serviced before i use them in my build or can i just install them and go
i dont think it should matter, cars sit in storage for years and start right up.
injectors sit on the store/warehouse shelf for years as well before being sold.

well i know after you get them cleaned you cant let them sit or they go bad well i guess i can just throw the 450's in and go that saves me money
they have been sitting in my room in a box. im not sure where they were before i got them. they dont look like they were exposed to the elements but you never know. just not sure if they are ok to use the way they are. also one of the pintile caps are broken

generally speaking, they are just solonoids, so as long as they are kept in a relatively clean environment with stable/reasonable humidity, they will be fine for a long time. As for the broken pintle cap, do you have any pics?
well im not in love with them but i also dont wanna spend 400 bucks on injectors if i can use these my injectors have to be low empedence obd0 and it isnt many options out there unless i run 550 and bigger injectors
