Default injector questions

well my question is, i have a set of dsm 450cc blue top injectors. the thing with the injectors is they have been sitting for a few months. how long is too long for injectors to sit before they cant be used, and should i get them cleaned and serviced before i use them in my build or can i just install them and go

i dont think it should matter, cars sit in storage for years and start right up.
injectors sit on the store/warehouse shelf for years as well before being sold.

call the shop that cleaned them and ask how long can they sit

ask first and then tell them how long its been and see what they say.

where have they been sitting (indoors/outdoors, high humidity/low humidity)? Are they covered in dirt from sitting? How were they stored?

generally speaking, they are just solonoids, so as long as they are kept in a relatively clean environment with stable/reasonable humidity, they will be fine for a long time. As for the broken pintle cap, do you have any pics?
