Default If its not one thing Its another... Hydro Conversion Help

So i got my GSR/B16 in last night, and noticed that the b16 tranny has an electric spedometer....
And my Rywire wireing harness is set up for cable 90-91 Integra...

DownLow on Harness:
THe harness was from 90-91 DA. Used in my old 4 door. In the sedan i was running OBD-1 GSR with an LS tranny.
Im not running anything differiently other than B16 Hydro Transmission, Will the car still run? Just no speedO? Or ... What do i need to do? I Have got to get this car on the road!!! Or atleast out of my boss's shop, he is gonna kill me if its in here any longer.

Is there a stand-alone harness i can get just for the speedO?
THanks guys

Take the speed sensor from your old transmission, and swap it with the electric speed sensor. Then connect the speedo cable. Problem solved

Awesome! Thanks Guys!
So do you have to crack open the case to do this? Or just go through the top?
The motors already in, And i was hopping i wouldnt have to pull it again before final assembly.

there is 1 10mm bolt holding it down. unbolt it and swap it out. no need to open the transmission it self.

Sweet, I pulled the old one out, i see what you mean.
Thanks guys.... But now on to bigger problems.

My rywire harness wont plug into my main harness on the drivers side... The New plug is way too big. Is there a differience in the stock harness between 89 and 90/91?
Because this harness fit in the 91 hatch, but not my 89....
Ugh. Kinda wishing i just hit up rywire directly. Was trying to save a few hundo.... but right now its not worth it.

the driver side plug on 90-91 is a big round plug. on 88-89 it is a small 6 pin rectangular plug. did you specify what year your car was when you contacted rywire? you may need to send it back and get it fixed or make your current body harness work by de-pinning.

This harness i didn't buy directly from RyWire, If i had done that then i wouldn't be having this problem. HAHA.
But i spoke with peter last night and he told me whats up.
The harness i have will fit the 90-91 Civics (SI-EX) and Integras (all)

So if anyone is looking for a Harness, Hit me up with an email. Not a PM.

Obd-0 To OBD-1 Vtec Full harness with jumper.
