so my 98 ek has died out on me a few times in the past week. it dies out at stop signs and sometimes while driving. when it does die out, it doesn't crank, it makes a clicking noise. Things i've tried-
jumping
push starting works sometimes and other times doesnt
i've asked around a bit in my area and had people check on it, and they've all told me different things like alternator, solenoid, or distributor. i don't know how to check those, but i believe the alternator is still fairly new, which leads me with the distributor mainly. the car has trouble starting sometimes also, but everything else seems fine. any advices? thanks!

 

Take it to Advanced Auto Parts if you live near one they can check to see if your alternator is bad then go from there.
