Front Upper Control Arm Specs?
Does anyone know what to torque the two bushing bolts to?, or how to adjust them? It doesn't seam like there's any room to tighten them while they are on the car. I was just gonna take the old ones off and try to match the new ones to them. This is on a 94' EX coupe.
Dude mine are totally loose. I did buy them with a kit on Ebay (tie rods, sway bar ends, lower ball joints and upper control arms). I know they were cheap but this car isn't in the best shape and I don't want to spend too much on it. I figured new cheap parts were better than old worn ones.
If they are loose tighten them down. If there isn't a torque specification for something its usually because it isn't a critical application for one, or the bolt you are tightening is part of an assembly that wasn't intended to be serviceable. And no, you can't really get at them while they are on the car, thats why they invented wrenches. Grab one to hold the nut on one end and tighten up whichever side you like. Should be a bolt through the bushing with a nut on the other side.
I mean get at them with a wrench to tighten them when the car is on the ground. It seams like that's how they should be done but I'm pretty sure they can't be reached.
