Default Passenger brake light out

So my sister brought to my attention that my brake light was out; not the entire light, but when I brake only my driver's side brake light brightens.

Before I go out in the blistering heat (its currently 114* outside) tonight when it maybe drops down to about 85*, what are some things I should check that are fairly common? Also, if it does end up to be the bulb that's just burnt out, where could I source a new one / what size do I need?

If it matters, I drive a 1995 Civic hatchback, CX, with the red/white tailights.

Thanks a lot!

Probably just a dead bulb.

Go to an auto parts store, tell them what what car you have and they will get you the right bulb.

just go to your local autoparts place and have them look up the bulb that you need.

That's what I was hoping... I'll go tonight so I can replace it. I'm hoping that'll fix the problem cuz I'm terrible at troubleshooting anything related to wiring/electrical issues
