TPS sensor help
I need to set the voltage on a TPS sensor I put it on and it keeps setting the engine light off. Is their a how to I did a search and it came up nothing. I never done it before I need to get this car working properly any point in the right direction would be mint
The TPS has three wires: Power, ECU input, and ground.
Turn the key to ON(II) and, in the connected TPS plug, back probe the ECU input and ground wires with a digital multimeter. Adjust the position of the TPS such that you measure ~0.5V at closed throttle and ~4.5V at wide open throttle.
