Think you can tell what my engine problem is! HELP!
ok, I was driving and when I shifted into 2nd gear (kinda hard) I hear a grinding noise, like metal or something loose, so I stop driving and go home. I cant figure where this noise is comming from. Here are the symptoms:
1. Does it in neutral, or gear
2. No CEL or warning lights
3. Oil level is normal
4. Inspected under valve cover, everything is fine
5. Somone said it *may* be a loose bearning in a pulley, or something with timing belt.
6. Comming from cam gear, pulley area.
my mods are as follows
b18b motor
ITR pistons
port/polish/3 angle valve job
crower 6403 cams
crower dual valve springs
crower ti retainers
crower adj. cam gears (set to +2 -1)
B&M adjustable FPR set at 58psi at idle
ACT clutch
AEM cai
AEM fuel rail
Greddy stainless header
DC sports exhaust
I was just messing with my fuel pressure and cam gear settings a few hours before it happend. However it only happend when I hit 2nd gear hard. Need some help here. THanks.
