Spoon sw388? or Slipstreams? you decide!
They are my buddies wheels, just wanted to see if we could fool anyone. He had them repowdercoated to the spoon specs. Good try though right? :p

Yes, and some 15'' replicas in 5x114 do not have the reliefs.
The easiest way to tell a 15" sw388 or Rega from a slipstream is the groove on the side of the spokes. Rotas don't have it.
16" Regas and 15" final versions do not have the relief holes in the hub, and there are actually two different styles of relief holes on the older 15"s.

Dude wants to trade those for my volks, my volks are super clean and i have the center caps. His look faded but are still clean and he has new tires.
Well, the coating on the SW388's has always been a satin/flat black. If you drive on them at all, they're going to look faded. Also, for clarification, SW388's didn't come with center caps.

That isn't always the case. My buddy had slips on his beater and they had the groove on the spokes. Without looking at the hub, the only difference was the valve stems and the finish. I would still rely on the Made in Russia stamp because I've never seen someone try to fake that.
