which ecu to tune D16y7
what setup are you running ?
Plane simple add ons like , intake, header, exhaust ? ---> then get a SAFC or VAFC and add the little bit of fuel you need through the power band
If you did bigger mods , turbo, SC, etc. Then go OBD1 and get chrome, neptune, ectune, hondata. etc. ( wich ever your local tuner uses )

dont get a vafc, please! thats a waste of money. piggy backs are trash.
you can basically use any obd1 ecu you want. almost all of them can be converted into whatever you want them to be. only things to pay attention too are tings like knock and IABs. which you are not gonna use. get a cheap p06 and convert it, spend a little and a decent tune.

VAFCs and SAFCs are not as bad as people make them be, When you are obd2, and need to stay that way tuning a safc/vafc will do wonders .
But, in my opinion once you cam the car, you are better of getting a tune to reak the full benefits of all your parts.
so you need:
obd2 to obd1 harness
obd1 moded to accept a tune. ( many ways of going about this, contact any local tuners to find out ).
I personally like the neptune demon, but many others out there.
