i was trying to see if anyone has a write up on how to install a jdm navi in a 96 civic. Im thinking of buying one but want to know before i buy one. Also what happens to the stereo since the navi takes up the space. And is there a cd needed for the navi or does one come WITH IT .??ANY TIPS WILL BE OF HELP THANKS

 

It will not work on USDM streets. The JDM navi is meant for japan and is also in japanese. it was never intended to be sold in the US.ive heard of people adapting them to work by using USDM guts from other cars but i do know the System itself will not work for USDM streets. As far as i know is the best bet is to gut it and use a NAVI system from a car with a similar size screen.
