i have a stock 96 ek and i just wanted to know where i could find a good but cheap b series engine vtec or non vtec dosent matter and ive been told that i will have to hot smog it because its an "old car" but its all stock and i just bought it just gonna change oil and do tune up the check engine light came on due to a mis fire but ran diagnostics on it just gonna delete that so will i need hot smog? ill prolly have mre questions later on down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

hmotorsonline is very reliable and fair price. good investment..... or... you can get saucy with it and go junkyard diving and replace parts as you inspect the engine with better more reliable and more powerful parts
i went to a family owned junkyard who didnt know **** about hondas and pulled a b20b for 350. yes non vtec. but a few months later. the b16 head went on. its cheaper and way more fun. when done, the feeling of satisfaction is there.

 

yeahh about that tho with junk yards in my town i live next to a military base and the marines got cars for days srt4s evos and honda all the hondas in the junk yard are stripped either like no body and or no engine or tranny! the next closest one to me that i know of is bout 2 hours away. i will go back and check again tho thanks!
