that's a very sexy engine, i wish i had the cash to build it myself. Good job to whoever built that

 

damn.... i wish i had seen that like 2 months ago. in the past 2-3 months i have easily spent more than that building my turbo beast, and it's not even done yet.... i'll let you guys know if my power is anywhere near that

 

there's like no information on the engine...if i was buying a $10,000 engine I'd want just a tad more info on it

Look at where the turbo manifold places the turbo. That engine is not going to fit in any Prelude chassis without a new custom Turbo manifold at a minimum. I wonder what type of chassis this was built to be mounted in... I can't imagine it would fit in any sort of FWD setup with the turbo mounted up so high.

That's exactly what I was gonna say......the setup is obviously out of a pro FWD drag car that's tubeframe in the front.....it'd probably fit in a prelude without the manifold and turbo and open downpipe (or should I say sidepipe? ) but I guarantee that it wouldn't make near the quoted numbers.....a different manifold/turbo that would actually fit, combined with a full exhaust, would probably knock off at least 70 whp....

I think I'm gonna remove everything off the front of my car, cut the frame, leave only the suspension and then mount that engine. Wonder if that would be street legal? Hmmm . . .

it looks like the manifold is upside down, probably not but looks that way

 

its a nice engine, but im always iffy on buying motors ALREADY built... id rather spend the time, money, and sweat on building my own motor that way if something goes wrong i can pinpoint my problem. but yes, that is one sexy *** motor...
