what are your fastest laptimes ?

mine is a 30.28, but I weigh 295 lbs. and that makes a difference

yeah, my times have been consistently getting better but I have only done about 6 or 7 sessions total. there are definitely better times to be had!

 

These Karts have both pedals on one side? Are they real karting chassis or go-kart chassis? A kart chassis is something like this:


I saw the picture on you sight and it looked a little more along the lines of go-karting.

 

Would you say that I have an unfair advantage because I work there? Some might, not me. I havent driven in nearly 3 weeks. My best Time to date is a 29:38. I will be in the 28's very soon. Must focus.

No membership fee, no hidden charges, etc. $220 for 120 minutes, split it three ways or six ways or whatever. It's all good.

ok on the new course what are your times guys? i have managed a 23.01, i still need practice ive only been 5 times.

If you are ever in Columbus, Ohio you need to venture out to Speeds for some real indoor karting. 690meter track, 22 turns. 40mph, where else can you beat Rahal and get him to autograph your timeslip. Yeah I only beat him because it was his very first heat there, I spanked him by about 2 seconds and he had me by 2 by the time the night was over. Respectable times are currently in the 56-58 second range, there slowly getting faster now that they've got a great mechanic working on the karts. About a year ago I ran a 54.9 but that was when the karts were fresh off of the truck. They are running 6hp motors right now but will soon have some 9hp special karts for the seasoned veterans. Anyone interested in racing in a league there we meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm for one heat a week. Most people stay for 2-3 though. I'll see yah out there.

Nice! My 245 pound *** did a personal best 23.053 the other night

30.01, I remember because I was pissed that I didn't break into the 29's.
160lbs., w/asthma... not usually an issue except that mixing this with an enclosed track, combustion engines, an endurance race, and 3 hours of sleep the night before... well you get the picture.

 

Dave the track has changed significantly since then. You'd be doing 25's or better now!

 

i havent qualified for the superkarts yet. i had 4 laps under 24.699. cant remember exact times.

My visits are random as **** these days, basically whenever somebody calls and invites me. The other night I was trying to keep up with two champion roadracers and learn something in the process. I got schooled by 0.2 sec

Mondays are fun, I haven't done one of those in way too long, too much work and not enough time these days
