i think 8.5:1 compression is going to kill your lowend. i'd say 9.0:1 to even 10.8:1 compression will yield better results at lower boost levels.

i have to laugh when i see a drag/street setup and then having an s372 as a tuebo option.

i wouldnt want to drive that turbo on the street hahaa.

honestly i think 800 on the street wont be fun. but thats my 2 cents. (well it will be and we all know that.)

i guess i should say practical on the street.

Get the billet 6765 or 6768 ball bearing with the .96a/r hot side, make plenty of power, and still have good enough spool to be fun on the street.... 6765 will spool a bit quicker, and should still be good enough to reach your goals...

i was also reading up on the s372r turbo. sounds like a really good turbo for 9's. can anyone give input on that vs the s400sx BW? i get confused reading back and forth between the 2 if theyre the same or different..

GL on your build

you dont need a 372r for 9s even at 2500lbs. there are better chouces out there!

i did it on a t3.....at 2500lbs.

Precision FTW!! I would say the 6765 with a .96 back should do the trick!!

I'm in the minority probably but I love my s372r on the street. I have the 1.25 a/r. I ride around on pump gas and make about 500whp on 15lbs. I have a 2.0L motor now, but it spools faster than a 57 trim did on my b16.

sidenote I did a boost leak test on my car today and my 76mm blox throttle body was shitting a ton of air out the side from the shaft. Did some research and apparently this is common...but just a FYI for you in case you care.
