why would anyone want to do this. if your cable tranny is in good working order then leave it be, if you need to replace it and can only find a hydro tranny then swicth it out..

Ok, next question; Why do you have a stage 5 clutch in the first place? What is your motor setup?

clutch isnt the problem, i need it to hold the power

the problem is i dont want to bend pedals and stretch cables, let alone hydraulics help with pedal pressure

I'm simply asking what type of motor you have...because that will change the options you have when going hydraulic.

EDIT: just so you know, the higher the stage, the FIRMER the clutch pedal, regardless if it is cable or hydro.

yes i realize that, although my post count is low ive been a member since 01 (coptzer, earldasquirrel... but they wouldnt let me change my name)

i have had many stage 5 comp clutches with hydro and they were manageable, whereas im losing too much time just trying to push in this pedal

its an awd D series trans in a 91 si

I highly doubt that single cam needs a stage 5 clutch.

If you have an NA D series, pushing those numbers, then i think you beat Bisi, which holds the record for known higest hp for a D series.

having a 99, assuming its an SI, then swapping in maybe a jdm sirI b16 tranny is totally different than what the op is talking about.

I actually fab'd it together myself. I realized than a circular saw blade is roughly the same diameter as a D series clutch plate...it works good enough for right now, until i get my Sparco flywheel
