rpm tach moves erratic than dies on h23a
I have a 93 prelude that i did an h23a swap into running a chipped p13 did the obd 2 to 1 conversion drove fine for about 5-6 months than one day while driving the rpm tach moved erratically all over the place the motor would bog down and than stall i tried to start it back up it started than fell flat on its face again. i let it sit for about 10 minutes started it up and drove it home fine checked all the grounds changed the distributer, spark plug wires, ignition coil, main relay and it drove fine for about 2 days and started to do the same thing again. when i try to give it gas when the tach is bouncing and it bogs there is no throttle response.
anyone have any ideas on what it could be? for some reason i think its the fuel pump because right before it started doing this the first time it would break up at like 5500rpm and has ever sense but im not sure

Fuel pump wouldn't cause the tach to go nuts like that.... You've got an electrical issue. Check your connections at the distributor. Also, what is this "chip" you're running? That might be your problem...
im tuned on chrome... its defiantly an electrical issue im gonna pull my harness and recheck all the wires to make sure im not shorting out somewhere
