Default baffles in a devil exhaust on an 02 750

I bought a devil slip on for my 02 gixxer 750, and I'm not very happy with the loudness. I called up the place I got it from and they said they could remove the baffle in it to make it louder. I know without a doubt this will make it louder but will affect back pressure or anything else?? would I have to get a PC to compensate for anything??

according to they salesman at devilbikes he says that removing the baffle wil not affect anything. the baffle is there because a gixxer slip-on also fits the TL1000 and the TL's produce more heat and noise then the gixxer's. is this true?
