B-series tranny/clutch trouble
Ok so i bought a rebuilt motor and it came complete with clutch that had a few thousand miles on it. i put a tranny on there and went to start it up. when the car is running though it makes a grinding sound when the clutch is engages. I already did the throwout bearing and with some help have narrowed it down to the clutch/pressure plate. but figured i would see if anybody has had any trouble like this or if anybody has any more input. if you do please feel free to post. i could use the help
If its a hydro trans you will want to bleed your slave cylinder.
You should be able to see the throwout arm move around a bit.
If its grinding in all gears usualy your clutch is not disengageing.
