thanks, although there's a pic of the red coupe... i wouldn't tell if there are any mods involved in it prior to making it fit... that's why i asked.

the honda fit uses wheels w/ some funky offset. the fit sport wheels will bolt onto the 7th gen but they will look sunken into the wheel wells. that's why people suggest installing spacers when using fit wheels.
IMO, fit wheels are not worth the effort since they don't really look that nice.

I also remember reading a post about someone having rubbing issues in the rear due to the offset. IIRC, it was hitting the trailing arm .. or something. Their way around it was to install spacers.
However, some people say they didn't have any rubbing issues and spacers weren't necessary.

That was me, mine were hitting the trailing arm so I had to add 1/4" spacer to avoid that...but then again mine are 1st gen USDM Honda Fit Sport wheels, I'm not sure of the specs on the 2nd gen.

and, mine don't look as sunken in as people say they are (note: no spacer up front)

i've seen those fit rims on a local 7th gen coupe and they did look really sunken in. actually, the one i saw looked even worse because the guy was using the super skinny fit tires.
